Who we are
We are not a venture-backed startup. There is no growth team, no analytics SDK, no "data partnership" line on a roadmap. Sentinel is built and maintained by a handful of engineers who spent years on the other side — auditing devices, training journalists, and watching what actually happens to phones when someone wants what is on them.
M. Karras
10+ years in mobile security research. Former incident responder for an independent press-freedom org. Writes the kernel-adjacent code.
J. Demir
Background in applied cryptography and embedded secure elements. Designed the device-bound license format and key handling.
A. Rinaldi
Field experience training lawyers and journalists on phone hygiene. Owns the threat-model copy, scan heuristics, and customer support.
Public profiles are intentionally minimal. We work with at-risk users and prefer to keep our personal attack surface small. Verified identities are available to enterprise and press-freedom partners on request.
What we believe
Your phone is yours.
No telemetry. No "anonymous usage stats." If we cannot ship a feature without watching you use it, we do not ship it.
Defense, not theatre.
Every indicator and lockdown maps to a real, documented technique. We tell you what we cannot defend against, too.
One-time payment, forever.
No subscription, no upsell, no "Pro" tier hiding the security features. One license, lifetime updates.
Independent on purpose.
Self-funded. No investors with a quarterly pressure to monetize the user base. We answer to the people who paid for the app.
Questions before you buy?
We answer support email personally — usually within 24 hours.
